I don't know if he's a coward, but he certainly is a traitor and a liar.

Ya ever notice how Dems are so quick to toss out the "highly decorated vet" lable whenever it suits their agenda? As if that somehow suggests that the individual can't possibly be questioned!
Jag!

From what I've heard he has a couple of purple hearts, but so does John Kerry who got his shaving so that doesn't necessarily mean much.
I like to instead just think he is an old drunk fool. A democrat.

"Is Jack Murtha a Coward and a Traitor?"
When the going gets tough... you know the rest. When the going gets tough, Murtha quits!
Is he a coward? Don't know, probably not.
A traitor? He has taken a position that he knows will lead to the defeat of the US military. A position that will embolden the enemy. It gives aid and comfort to terrorists and enemies of the US. Isn't that what a traitor does? What would a traitor do differently than Murtha or any DemocRAT is doing?

Murtha seems lucid and convinced of his position, but his position is that of a juvenile; as if he never saw evil, knew nothing about the nihilistic and determined motivations and ideology of the terrorists, and believed outright falsehoods regarding the progress of the war and its origins. He doesn't seem "stupid", but the content of his "resolution" is both delusional and patently idiotic. He seems like an actor in a role, speaking lines someone had written for him. Could it be, that the Leftists in the Democrat party (Pelosi) have enough leverage on him to script his oratory, and they chose him because of his "Vet cred"? What is going on here?

He looks like he's spent too much time in bars with Teddy the Swimmer.

Murtha can shut up and support the troops as far as I'm concerned. His call for immediate withdrawal is a victory for the terrorists, and if the Democrat party had any VESTIGE of love for this nation, its leaders would have publicly ripped him for suggesting surrender.
I used to be a Democrat, and I am stunned as to how low and depraved the Democrat party has become.
