eight terrorists blew themselves up in the in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The unconfirmed report claimed that the explosions occurred after coalition forces surrounded the house in which al-Zarqawi was hiding. Maybe he had a little help.

One of the generals on Fox said that they had Zarquawi in their sites from, I believe, an unmanned plane, and that permission was denied from somewhere up the food chain to strike. I heard him say this either last night or this morning. He said it was well known in military circles, but had not made the media yet. Maybe the boots on the ground helped take care of the problem without having to go up the chain of command for permission.

Perhaps the reason they think he might be one of them is this. al-Zarqawi would NOT want to be taken alive. We shall see.
