'missing leg'
my understanding is that it is Zarqawi that is missing a leg or part of a leg.

You hit the nail on the head. If Jordanian intel knew of his whereabouts the entire time, they share in the culpability of this whole mess. Regardless, let's hope this latest report is accurate.

They had Saddam's DNA and confirmed it in less than a day.

Don't think that Pakistani ISI doesn't have a decient idea of the position of certain high ranking members of al-Qaeda in Pakistan.

Didn't Z just threaten Jordan's king? If so, that was darn fast timing on finding him.Perhaps the family was "persuaded" by Jordan's government to say where he was located.

I bet the Iraqis would dance in the streets at news of his death. Heck maybe our troops would even join them.
He is responsible for the death of many of our best.
Some say he is easily replacable, I disagree.

"They had Saddam's DNA and confirmed it in less than a day."
But Saddams body wasnt charred beyond recognition like these. Im not sure how much that slows down a DNA test, maybe not at all. Hopefuly we will get a yes or no soon.

This one actually has merit. Some of the reporting is inaccurate but on the whole this thing all fits together.

>>>
my understanding is that it is Zarqawi that is missing a leg or part of a leg. <<< I'll settle for the general rule that all Muslim terrorists with a last name starting in "Z" are missing some portion of their lower limbs. If not true, lets make it happen.
However, "knee-capping" would be too good for them!

Did the Bush Administration wait to kill al-Zarqawi until now because of Pres. Bush's sinking poll number?
Not low enough for them to bring out bin LLaden yet.
