We also know that Republicans and Conservatives screen their calls when they are home and most of the time they are working and the Pollsters do not talk to Voice Mail or answering Machines.

That being the case, when the polls continually showed a close election, the President should have easily won by 20 or 30 points. Why were they relatively accurate then, and in 2002, but suddenly they are not now relatively accurate? I notice that no Republican on the talking head circuit is saying much about the polls because from what I have heard the Republican internal polls show pretty much the same thing. BTW, there are few more conservative sites than Free Republic. But the members poll show only 51% strongly approve of Bush's performance. That should be pretty telling.

You need to do your homework on these Polls and you sound seriously so depressed that you are not about to listen to what other posters are trying to tell you. They play with these Poll questions to make the news to change people's minds, it is called manipulation and they are good at it. They got you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They know they people only catch snippets of news and so they choreograph these polls for the sound bites. Nobody is saying the numbers are not lower, but a lot of the numbers are from Republicans that disagree about Borders and other issues, and they are not 30% approval. They do not count on the Alternative media looking into why they poll only 23 % republicans when we know better. You are doing what they are doing, you are trying to depress others with your negativity.
