You're wrong. Your punch list of Rummy-wrongs is MSM propaganda.
As you know, I've written a ton of letters to the editor for both our local paper and another state (not mine). Every single one has been published.
I regularly call my Congressmen and Senators and Mr. Peach wrote a 3 page letter to Lindsey Graham last week.
We host political parties at our home. We work for the RNC on a volunteer basis. We used to donate until Republicans got so spineless this year that we stopped.
I have lost friends in the real world and on FR because I am not part of the echo chamber that has it as a rule to never speak badly about the president.
I have spoken badly about him on two occasions since he was elected. One to discuss this issue we are discussing today and one to condemn the Medicare bill and its cost and ineffectiveness.
My point remains -- those who are in denial that military morale is sinking are not calling their congressmen with concern over that issue. I have tried to convince people that it is a problem. This has been perceived as being a doom and gloomer and negative. So be it.
My commitment to see that our military gets the support it needs from Congress is more important than a popularity contest to see who is the most loyal freeper or the best supporter of the president.
No it's not.
I think George Allen should be one...I read that he is in Asia with Bush...but not on AFI...
Maybe he will continue on to Iraq.
Rush has given Allen a big thumbs up and we know the power of Rush Limbaugh...so, I hope that Allen comes through.
I did see where he wrote an article that was posted here, supposedly explaining why he voted for Warner's amendment, but I was impressed...he was STILL wrong to vote for it.
Observable data? You have observed that morale isn't a problem. You have never commented on Ollie's article that I've linked twice now to you.
As to the vote of Congress, everything negative I've said about Congress has been qualified with the words "before last week".
Your observable data included some mysterious mention of a web site and when asked what you were talking about, you didn't answer the question.
As to name calling, you are the one calling everyone who disagrees with you a doom and gloomer. I asked you which part of what I've said you disagree with and can't answer a single question. That's MY observable data.
That's absolutely right on. The press briefings have been bad since McClellan's predecessor left.
Since you are firmly convinced you are 100% right on this issue, then you have a duty to offer at least as many suggestions as I did. You are a smart person.
Rather than continuing the argument about how you are the only person who sees this issue correctly, I suggest you make a more concerted effort to turn the situation around. Offer up some additional ideas.
I am going to go fix supper.
Yep...those pictures tell the story. Ever since 9/11, I have told myself that I will never let my daughter, DIL, or my granddaughters have to wear a burqa...
I do not understand people that have taken this threat so lightly that they would rather see the US lose this war, and take that chance...than give Bush any "win".
Mort Kondrake, a democrat, admitted that the dems would rather lose the war...than give President Bush a win....so, my granddaughters and yours are in danger if the dems EVER get any power back.
Please don't feed the troll.
I am sure in Kerry and Harkin's eyes, he was a hero, then.
They were very good friends with Noriega.
You're welcome!
Good point. Jackals is exactly what they are..
No, but as Todays Host of this thread, If I ask the Admin Moderator to boot your troll butt it is going to carry weight. You obviously are just looking for a fight for the sake of fighting. Your tagline gives you away. We do not waste time in this thread on your type of behavior. Troll elsewhere.
OK but personally I prefer plain spoken men. And don't forget President Reagan was an actor for nearly 40 years.
Oh my. I thought -I- was the only one who said that. My family, who does hear me spout and are mostly okay about it, hears me say all the time, and I'm drop dead serious..."I never want her to have to wear a burqa". Yeah, they look at me like I'm nuts but I know I'm not. ;)
I've never heard the MSM make any such charges. I have read the same from conservatives who support the war (like me) as well as military veterans who support the war but don't like the way it has been carried out.
Maybe becuase you are so gung ho to be the echo chamber of the DNC spin lies.
Truly remarkable post SC thanks so much.
Then just get on with it; this is beyond ridiculous... and childish.
