You know damn well if the House vote had made Bush look bad, Russert would spend the whole hour on it.

In fact, he did just that when the Senate Dems called for a closed session 2 weeks ago. IIRC, he had a lenghty roundtable on the subject. Am I remembering correctly?

As Dems smell blood Tim is letting his lefty leanings show more than usual.

What is particularly telling by his Statements is that he is using talking points from two years ago or more by the Dems. He is talking about Wolfowitz who is running the World Bank now. the Dems are trying to make him out to be the big Hawk on the War when it is obvious he has been anti-war for a long time, and he did not just wake up and have a "come to Jesus" moment. Almost everything he has said recently has already been hashed and rehashed and it seems like he was asleep when all this was done in the last 2 1/2 years by the anti American cut and run Democrats.

I thought McDermott's "present" vote said a whole lot about what they know is going on. If he did not have the cajones to vote yes, with his base, something is really strange.

I could be wrong but I remember it being said Murtha was in Vietnam for more than one tour.

For a plagiarizer, Biden sure has trouble quoting others accurately.

Biden: President Bush said "Iraq poses an imminent threat"
Actual Bush words: "we cannot wait until Iraq poses an imminent threat."

Biden: President Bush said "they have reconstituted nuclear weapons."
Actual quote: "they may have reconstituted their nuclear weapons program."

Why doesn't Wallace know these accurate quotes.

Morning snugs, and thanks. FOX isn't as conservative as the left would have us believe, but FOX certainly has had no reason to stop the rumors since they helped fuel their growth.

Think maybe Wallace has to make up for outing old "covert" Rockefeller last Sunday? I bet he got a "vast" amount of high powered complaints filed against him.

Wallace either is not aware of Biden's lack of credibility or he knows full well what he is doing.

Are you saying that people in Idaho have to get up at 6:00 to watch FNS?

Thanks, Rod. I say I was, proudly, one of the first Bloggers with a take. Again, proudly, there's links to it from all over the Blogosphere. I wrote that post right after that 8,000 plus thread as the House debate was ongoing. Which, I say proudly again, I participated in the whole evening. But it was the Freeper thread that influenced me, make no mistake.

The real source of pride is my post on Blogcritics. Same post only the editors spiffed it up. But go down and read the comments. Some great stuff.

Hey, these folks are what I would call "blind moderates", mostly young and hip fellows who review music and video stuff.

Read the great comments here.

While you're at it, check out my post on Saddam's weapons of mass destruction. Yes indeed I have a PICTURE of those WMD's! Only those comments include some Moonbats.

Pic of Saddam's weapons of mass destruction HERE Did I tell y'all that Terry Strine, chairman of the Delaware GOP called me up last Sunday? Indeed he did. Tole me lots of stuff too...."off the record".

Folks, I'm just a humble Grandma Blogger here. But I am determined to change minds, one at a time. Such as GOP chairman calling me- and boy did I tell him if it's the last thing I do I will un-elect Delaware RINO Mike Castle- is new to me. Castle voted last week AGAINST ANWAR drilling.

Strine told me the GOP had NO idea he was going to do that.

Looks like one tour.

His website:

He learned about military service from the bottom up, beginning as a raw recruit when he left Washington and Jefferson College in 1952 to join the Marines out of a growing sense of obligation to his country during the Korean War. There he earned the American Spirit Honor Medal, awarded to fewer than one in 10,000 recruits. He rose through the ranks to become a drill instructor at Parris Island and was selected for Officer Candidate School at Quantico, Virginia. He then was assigned to the Second Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In 1959, Captain Murtha took command of the 34th Special Infantry Company, Marine Corps Reserves, in Johnstown. He remained in the Reserves after his discharge from active duty until he volunteered for Vietnam in 1966-67, receiving the Bronze Star with Combat "V", two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He remained in the Reserves until his retirement. This first-hand knowledge of military and defense issues has made him a trusted adviser to presidents of both parties and one of the most effective advocates for the national defense in Washington. At the request of Presidents and Speakers of the House, he served as chairman of delegations monitoring elections in the Philippines, El Salvador, Panama and Bosnia.

Thanks! Murtha exposes himself as inventing reality. This really is amazing in that it puts the lie to the military being so upset.

Ok, looking like we WILL hit my 1000 post goal.

Doing my part...

The This Week saying that Alito will sail through, Dims afraid of a pointless showdown in an election year, Will suggesting that Alito will let Roe stand because too much existing law is predicated on it.

Good morning all. Thanks for the thread AB.

All of us keep hearing references to Viet Nam, and how that war was wrong, according to some points of view. The war in Iraq and VN are as different as daylight and dark, IMHO. And, all of you probably think likewise.

Personally, I think the American public and rest of the world are being blindsided by the MSM, and there could possibly be another word for it:

"CRONKITED"

...he predicts we'll be out of Iraq by election day 2006.

That's the feeling you get listening to the 'panel' on 'This Week'

George Will said we had an 'Imperial' foreign-policy... he's the perfect example of a checkered-pants Republican... pure fodder for the left to graze on.

Biden says Bush did use the term.

Biden is lying again. Bush said "Some would have us wait until the threat is imminent". That is complete different from what the lying scum Democrats are saying.
