I also saw a beautiful OVERSTOCK Christmas commercial the other day. Last week while at the checkout at Wal-Mart, when the cashier handed me my receipt, I leaned over and whispered "Merry Christmas" to her and she responded the same back to me. I am with Falwell on this. The late Francis Shaeffer, who was a very intelligent Christian writer of years ago, predicted the current move against Christianity. I believe if Christians, being 86% of this population do not take to the streets in demonstrations which show their strength, they will loose their freedom and worse, will be persecuted. The world of Christianity in America feels safe because of numbers. That is a false belief as we deal with a vicious minority of leftists in our government and in the media, backed by other world dictatorships. In fact, because of the unprecedented behavior going on right now against our President and the nation, I am going to attend a church today, for the first time in a long time. If I am doing this, perhaps all the insanity will cause a growth in the number of people who will actually demonstrate their faith by attending services. It would be great if Christmas programs in every church in the nation would have overflow crowds. Is it time to hit the streets? I say, "Yes!!!!"

Hit the streets yes! Lawsuits, no! Lawsuits only politicize the matter and take it from sincere belief to dogmatic or rigid adherence for other than sincere purposes.

AS soeone else said, this was predicted. Even though 80-some% of Americans are "christian," they are not true Bible believing Christians taking what they want to believe yet discarding the rest. This entire thing is very clearly laid out in the Scriptures as what will precede the return of Christ.

One of those things is that people will "hold to a form of godliness but deny its power." Well, that's where we are today. People by and large are christians more by upbringing, geneology, or ethnicity than they are in practice. This displeases God. Ergo the judgement. You see what's happened in Europe. While perhaps not a direct apostasy, it's indirect at minimum.

The bottom line is that if you are going to be a real Christian, "you" being meant generically, then it's impossible to do so without a firm belief that the Scriptures, all of them, are God's Word and need to be heeded and held to ultimately.

Hell's Best Kept Secret is a powerful message. There are lots of people who name the name of Christ but have no fruit in their life to show for it.
