MSNBC must have some damn fine makeup artists. I didn't even recognize Dowd. She looks pretty crappy in some of her old pictures. She DOES look good in this video. She even looks happy. Are we sure this is really her? Could she have been taken over by aliens?

I thought she looked very pretty.
Her hair pulled back in a french knot accounted for at least part of it.
When worn down, her thick red locks tend to overpower her pretty, expressive eyes and fine bone structure.
