Well put. One of the best descriptive/explanatory sayings about leftists is that leftists are "people for whom indignation is a way of life." "Things are so bad" that only people equipped with moral refinement and brilliant minds (them, in their purblind conceit) can straighten them out. I remember coming to FR from Enter Stage Right - do you know the song "Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good!"?
Well put, indeed. They do, in fact, believe that they, and they alone, have the solutions for all of mankind's ills ... the ol' perfectability of man shtick. Their liberal agenda has actually become a secular religion for them, from which they derive their "moral" superiority. The rest of us just don't understand ... we are not in the private club.
