Tonight's Saturday Night Live--a show that has become the entertainment division of moveon.org--spent five excruciatingly unfunny minutes attacking Schmidt. SNL is always unfunny anymore, that's why I wasn't watching. What did they do?

On the Weekend Update, Tina Fey (who does most of the politically charged stuff) showed the clip of her speaking the "Only cowards cut and run" lines and the resulting booing. The alleged punch line was something like "While Murtha is a decorated war veteran, Schmidt is a veteran of a Seventies fashion time-warp." Ha ha.
