There is no statistical evidence (at least that I am aware of) that suggests the death penalty actually deters crime (reduces the incidents of murder).

It is statistical possible to count the number of murders (or any
other crime for that matter) committed by executed criminals.

The death penalty deters all crime with absolutely no recidivism rate.

This is a joke. But it is possible to check the reverse and not as a joke. How many convicted murderers, killed again after serving the prison sentence?
