To: Flyer; Eaker; humblegunner; thackney; TheMom

Within the City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering department I only saw one (1) white male employee during the extensive time I spent up there this month getting the cities "sign-off" on a commercial building project for my engineering firm...

The majority of the people working there were middle-eastern Iranians, Pakistanis, a smattering of Chinese and Indian nationals...And more Afri...Black Americans in that near "do nothing", "come back next week", "top heavy", mis-managed city organization that I care to comment any further on...

Remember, I just don't have any reason to embellish any of this...Its just what I observed...

I'm just glad I got that thing through their "system", whatever that was...

And to think Houston government claims to be business and development friendly???

Well, they certainly manage to be neighborhood- and constituent-unfriendly.

The City of Houston and its Goobermental Establishment is truly a wondrous beast. Helpful to few, bestial toward all. Or very nearly so.
