It's no wonder he has to use a new grand jury.

If the source for Woodward never testified to a Grand Jury, he needs a new Grand Jury.

Also, Woodward would never reveal a source or speak of a conversation with a source without permission.

So if Woodward contacted said source, and the source said 'shut your pie hole', it would not be an issue.

This person must be a friend of Libby's who does not want to see him go down and his willing to place themself in harms way to help Libby.

Otherwise, the investigation into the non-story of the non-agent would not require a new Grand Jury.

That and the need to possibly re-indict Libby on an indictment without contradictory statements as the current one.

Yes, and it sort of goes along with having the FBI interview Plame's neighbors for the first time 5 days before the indictment of Libby. Two years spent fooling with the pieces of the puzzle to get the desired result?

Actually he is a very dangerous and predatory liberal masquerading as a moderate. Hopefully he will be a dumkopf as this rolls forward.

He will probably try again to slime Rove or Dick Cheney with his new game of who not to interview to slime the Republicans.

If he subpoenas Walter Pincus and David Corn and makes their testimony public, we can cut him some slack.

Heheh. Haven't heard that one in a long time. If Novak taint whisling dixie, it appears the final outcome is going to be a bit of a surprise to many. Like Enchante made notion a month and a half ago during the posting frenzies, it could end up being Powell or Wilkenson. But we only continue to guess up a storm.
I do hope Libby shall fair well in this as he was a victim in all sense of the word. It is hard to think his superiors would have an arrangement with him, to take the rap in a clever arranged slip of memory or planted lie, so to speak to have the investigation just end. Then again who knows, what goes on in the bowels of the beltway circus.
