We are up against Kennedy-Miller's wrongly called "Employee Free Choice Act" with 204 cosponsors in the House.All Kennedy Miller's Bill will do is take away the secret Ballot for American workers in favor of the undemocratic "Card check" process. There is alot of movement on co-sponsorship. We are now at seventy six co-sponsors and counting. There is strength for Republicans on the Ed Workforce for a vote to get SBPA out of committee but this will not happen without the co-sponsorships and grassroots pressure...

What we do need is at least one hundred co-sponsors to move SBPA to a vote-any help in terms of calling these specific members would greatly advance our cause...

This should pass easily, people are as sick of union corruption and racketerring as they are of the dims.

I'm pinging some fellow Irish FReepers here because this abolition of a secret ballot reminds of the former Irish prime minister, Charlie Haughey. Haughey was Ireland's Bubba in more ways than one, but my main point here is; when a vote was been taken in the Irish parliament, he would always declare an 'open ballot' - in other words he would know who in his party voted against him. There was one case where a politician was beaten up in a corridor by a gang of thugs - by strange coincidence he had previously voted against Haughey!!

Does it surprise you that Kennedy's name is on this Socialist bill? I don't resent his wealth, I think wealth is great however, I do resent people like Mr. Kennedy exploiting the hoi polloi in such an egregious fashion - blatant lying. His un-American activities now lead him to abolish the private vote of citizens, for what purpose?
