Murtha is also under investigation, but Democrats don't want to hear that either.

Perhaps that has something to do with Murtha's "coming out" on Iraq - wanting to innoculate himself by indicating that any investigation of him is motivated by his remarks on Iraq

Murtha struck me in Friday's debate as emphatically a Democrat partisan - his arguments for withdrawl were right from their playbook and basically pathetic if not treasonous.

If you want to look into it I think you'll find he's tied to a relative of his and Nancy Pelosi's relatives.

As to Murtha, he struck me as a tired old man who's being used by the Democrats. He HAS to be totally partisan becuause otherwise he could not take such a radical position. He seems to honestly care about the troops but he does not seem to understand the political philosophy he's embracing.
