You aren't. There is no cohesiveness in the multi re plies. No way can anyone follow a train of thought with the multiple reactions. It makes for no sense.

Should a guy have to search through a 6,000+ post thread to find the final vote tally of this extremely important breaking news?Naw, just go to cspan.org.
To: cibco
Well, it made sense to a hell of a lot of us for almost 8000 posts; go figure.

Not if you are trying to find out what is going on. It comes across as a disjointed bunch of info.
I'm not picking on you. I just can't stand live threads that have people comment on comments a hundred comments back. They make no sense.

I think this vote tally deserves a new thread. Perhaps a few more!

How did the traitor Murtha vote? Apparently Pelosi voted against her constituents wishes.

Having waded through the other thread, it seems that they made a mistake in their vote (thinking that a yes vote supported the troops). At least one of them, Lindner of GA, is apparently a solid conservative. Don't remember who the other one was, but it sounded as if he should get the benefit of the doubt, too. Well, that at least makes sense...although it doesn't change the thing about voting then changing one's vote.
In 2000 when people in Florida couldn't figure out how to follow a line and poke a hole and they wanted to change votes that were suspected as being for Kerry and not some other candidate I asked if we really want our president chosen by people who can't follow a line and poke a hole...same here...if they can't figure out what they're voting on then perhaps they should consider alternative employment. That being said, people do make mistakes...but this is something important...not just grabbing the wrong flavor of jelly at the store.

I searched the 'end' of the 7000+ thread for the vote count. Finally clicked on to this thread and got the info I was looking for.

I'm glad to see the new thread too.......
Too many posts to wade through.
Thanks.

"Do you people who post these threads EVER look for another ONGOING thread to post this on?"
Sadly it seems like some of our members in a freenzy to post stuff never body looking at what is going on first as you well know. Just keep on filling those harddisks up with reduntant material, so Jim has to aks for another 10 grand every six months to add to the disk arrays as they fill up. Bit insane.

"You've just insulted everybody on those threads."
Not if you were. It was overload and that is why I left. It had so much overload that the truth got lost.
You can have discussion but, when you get a quick overload of info, in a short period of time, it overwhelms the purpose.
We need to hold the dems accountable instead of the blame America crowd.

I have to say thanks for posting this on a new thread. I was trying to find the info in that massive 7,600 post thread and could not wade through it. One click of the mouse and here it is. Thanks,
Sorry Howlin, that long thread, to a person that has been out all night, is just too long to get any quick info. This new thread was very useful for me. :)
