What struck me about this whole affair is that the Congresswoman never "insulted" or "humiliated" or "defamed" Murtha (which I assume is the great breach of decorum that got her remark stricken). She quoted a currently serving Marine whose statement (if one ignores the programmed response by Democrats) could be interpreted as "Hey, fellow Leatherneck, we don't take the coward's way out. We stand and fight!" I personally think that the 'Rats were just waiting for any remark that could be twisted into challenging Murtha's "courage" or "patriotism" so that they could (instead of observing the rules of order themselves) yell and cavort like "question time" on the BBC.
