I was thinking more on the lines of the Mickey Mouse cows that farmers out in Iowa sell to the Disney Corp.

The Discovery Channel had a special on a few years ago on what Christ may have looked like. The sculpture was made from best guesses after factoring in location, race, time of the century, family circumstance, etc. I remember saving it from TV. Here it is:

Apparently, the Son of God also robbed a 7-11 from that picture.

He claims he's been treated like a secong class citizen. So, here's an attorney, in OUR courts and he said what??

Maybe his problem doesn't arise from being an atheist. He's an attorney!! Wake up, Newdow!! (I've never even heard an atheist joke.)

My guess is that it wouldn't make any difference what he looked like if you were a blind man and wanted to receive your sight. ;)

I'm sure they had no more idea what He looked like than we do today.

While I'm sure this is true, the picture of what they thought would be interesting in that I suspect it would not portray Him as European.

I have posted a picture of the Tiberias Image at:

http://www.shroudstory.com/tiberias.htm

Yes, there are definate points of comparison to the shroud image. There are a whole bunch of people looking at that.

As of now I don't have an opinion.

Hmm...could be a couple reasons for that.

Though I have heard multiple theories that posit that, while there was a Jesus somewhere in that land, that the mythology of Jesus Christ springs from other sources.

I even heard one that said Julius Caesar was the basis! lol
