Cause the polls are rotten. If ever I doubted that, I wouldn't doubt it now. If the Dems thought thise was even moderately well received by the people half of their caucus would have voted to bring them home. That ALL voted against means the polls are junk.

They can 'spin' their no votes all they want. All we have been hearing about is 'withdraw our troops, Bush lied' every chance they have before a camera. Well they had their chance tonight. I at least have to give credit to the 3 who voted their convictions. The rest who spew their vile but are afraid to put their vote where their mouth is can , well, I probably shouldn't say here what I think they can do.
