What a bunch of bloody cowards. I hope the results of this vote get rammed down their throats every time they open their stinking pie holes from now until Election Day.

How do you think the MSM is going to spin this though? Do you think they are going to go deep into the intentions of the resolution in smoking out the dems OR that it was just a Republican call for withdrawal that the Patriotic Dems would have no part of?

Exactly the way I thought they would...right in line with the spew coming from the Dems this morning:

"This wasn't the resolution we wanted. This was a watered down Republican resolution. That's why we voted against it."

Which brings to mind a question. I am fairly familiar with Parliamentary procedure. If the Dems didn't like the resolution, why didn't someone stand up and make a motion to open debate on an ammended version of the resolution to bring it in line with Mr. Murtha's original resolution?
That would have perfectly allowable and would have given them the chance to vote on a resolution that they liked.

Oh...but I forgot...the whole point of the exercise was for the Dems to NOT vote or commit either way. Silly me.
