Murtha was pathetic. Regarding no plan and lack of material, I wonder if he ever heard of the Battle of the Bulge? Our poor troopers didn't have winter clothes and froze to death with guns in their hands. We suffered 400,000 deaths in about 2.5 years.
What about the damning silence from the left when millions died in Southeast Asia after we "cut and ran"?

Colonel Murtha, USMC, did not "cut and run". Check his record. I do not agree with his current tactics but would never infer cowardice... I would bet that not only has he heard about the "Battle of the Bulge", he could lecture on the subject.
