It reminds me of my days in the corporate world where we would have meetings to talk about when we should have meetings.
They were voting on the rules by which the consideration of the resolution would be held. In the congress, they have rules for each resolution. In many cases the vote on the rules is perfunctory, but here it wasn't, so they had to have a debate on the rules.
Usually that would have talked about the unfairness of the rules, but nobody really debated the rules tonight.
All the republicans and democrats are going to say good things about Murtha. People will wonder why the democrats call this an attack on Murtha when everybody is saying the same thing.
