And he will be right. I think this could cost them up to 30 seats, regardless of how they vote: a vote against the war destroys their chances of getting "moderates" and GOPers to vote for them; and a vote for the war will destroy their fundraising and volunteer networks and open the door for primary challengers. They are screwed, and I really wish I could use a stronger term here. I cannot tell you how amazed I am that the GOP pulled this off, because it is truly one of those votes that can change a political landscape.
Yes, I agree with you. This vote will be refered to many, many times. It will sink several Dems in the future.
