He served 3 years DURING korea, but not in korea. Then he did spend a year in Iraq (8 months more than Kerry).
Hoyer, you are wrong. Murtha DID call for immediate withdraw. He just couched it in different terms.
Nothing is beneath YOUR dignity. Hoyer, because of what Murtha said, the newspapers had headlines saying "senior democrat calls for IMMEDIATE pullout". We needed this resolution to counter that TERRIBLE message.
