"Instead of being a vote on whether to pull out (aka. "surrender"), they are making it a vote over "encouraging the troops to stay the course."

"Well, who's surprised at this, really? The dreaded Incredible Ball-Shrinking Virus strikes the GOP again."

All of a sudden my excitment meter took a big dive...put the popcorn and beer up folks. This is weak..maybe the speeches will be fun though. Good grief.

No. The Amendment will clearly state "Do you support immediate withdrawal of the troops?" That's what a member just said.

Turn on CSPAN right now. The discussion has already started.

All the Republicans did was to put the vote in the positive. Vote to support the troops or not.

It's still going to be fun to watch, so break the popcorn and beer back out.
