I'm a "veteran" musician, but it doesn't mean that every musician I ever played with was any good, or even had the "right" views on music. Some were idiots, some addicts. But I would not go down the road of trying to tarnish Murtha or discredit HIM. Discredit what he said, which is as wrong as when Gen. Sheridan said "there's no good Indian but a dead Indian" (or words very close, for your perfectionists).
Murtha's head wound is from being a Democrat. One has to wonder if he's sincere or IF he's worried about donors?
He's the perfect antidote.
