Info posted on the Hannity & Colmes site on FoxNews.com:
...Hannity & Colmes put this story on the map. Now, we'll introduce you to the woman at the center of the controversy. Warren County Community College freshman Rebecca Beach is here for her first on-camera interview about the email that sparked national outrage. After she invited adjunct English professor John Daly to her campus event to hear from Iraq War veteran Lt. Col. Scott Rutter, he responded saying he believes the war in Iraq will end only when American soldiers turn their guns on their commanders. What?! We'll have the full story tonight on H&C.!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
Heh... I just e-mailed that response to him. Thanx.
Just emailed the entire crowd at Warren again. Just to keep things on their mind. :-)
I will continue to expose your right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like your won't dare show their face on a college campus.
He also adds:
Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors and fight for just causes and for people's needs-
And he has the audacity to call the student a Fascist? The only freedom he cares about is the one he can use to destroy his adversary who are cowed into silence. To him, freedom goes only one way... his. He is truly the Fascist.
When I read stuff like this, I thank God my college days are over.
Thanks for the ping!
Personal email? Did this student send emails to the faculty members personal accounts? If this guys email address has .edu as an extension, I don't believe that would be a personal email address, would it?
And even if it was his HotMail account (which I highly doubt), there seems to be a double standard (what a shock) considering the Duquesne University student who was threatened with expulsion over a comment he wrote on his FACE profile.
I sent him an insulting song. He has an aol.com email address.
You wanna get this scum Daly fired! The best way is to go to your company's office that pays for tuition out of its training budget and tell them of this outrage. Your company can then tell the President that they will in no way pay tuition or allow their employees to get degrees from their rathole university. Money talks and Daly's ass is in the street.

I am raising hell with my company next week and we are one of the top 5 defense contractors in the world.
Thanks Race. It's obvious that this moronic "professor" subscribes to the shameful theory painted on that bedsheet.
Professor John Daly of Warren Community College is advocating violence against constitutionally appointed officers of the United States government.

"Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors and fight for just causes and for people's needs--such freedom fighters can be counted throughout American history and they certainly will be counted again."
Prof. John Daly
Message sent, lets see what happens.
Time for Civil War v2.0, children.
As for the idiot professor, to the wall with him.
A second thought, perhaps: maybe what he needs is a little "re-education" courtesy of some rather large Marines and SF guys with bad attitudes and long memories.

My e-mail to the college president.
Dear Mr. Austin,
I had the misfortune to read an article about the e-mail that Professor Daily sent to one of your students recently. I have pasted that e-mail below. First of all, I hope for the sake of your students that he is not a professor of economics or history. For a professor of any subject, the ignorance he displays with regard to both of these topics is truly astounding. However, more importantly, as an active duty officer, I am concerned that professor Daily is effectively urging my murder and the murder of my fellow officers. I would like to think that at even the most liberal of this countrys institutions of higher learning, calling for the murder of American military officers would result in the immediate termination of employment. I sincerely hope that you will not use some misguided interpretation of the First Amendment to avoid taking immediate action against Professor Daly. Advocating murder is not protected by the United States Constitution.
Sincerely,
......
These liberal guys really need to develop a better sense of humor and take up some hobbies. They're taking themselves way too seriously.
Nothing they can do will stop the flow of conservative information, speech, or political activity. They might as well dedicate their lives to banning the Law of Gravity.
They should start wearing Jester caps just to maintain the unity of content and form.
Since the inception of sociolinguistics four decades ago, the correlation of dependent linguistic variables has provided the theoretical core of the discipline. This volume reviews the essential findings that form its foundation and shows how empirical explorations have made it the most stimulating field in the contemporary study of language.
Sociolinguistic Theory discusses the linguistic variable and its significance, crucial social variables such as social stratification, sex and age, and the cultural purposes of linguistic variation. This second edtion has been updated to incorporate new findings and expand on the discussion of communicative competence and developmental sociolinguistics.
Sounds like something everyone should study!
