I'm SURE the ACLU will be all over this!When this story first broke a couple of years ago, I e-mailed the ACLU at their referral address on their website and suggested they may want the case, and that it would be good for them to take, since people thought they just went after Christianity. I was SO surprised that they never replied...

Brooke Carlin encouraged her students to play at being Muslims - adopt Muslim names, recite a line from a prayer If they recited the shahada they can be considered converts to islam.
Oh and you know what the penalty for leaving islam is.
Wonder if they explained that to these kids.
