To possibly strike now on US soil? Is there a better time for Al Quaida to strike long and deep?

I don't think that the US is quite at the point of a surrender if there's another attack on US soil. Of course, the media would wet their pants, but I don't think that the public would be quite as cowardly as the congress. I think an attack on US soil would piss more people off, although there would be plenty of play in the media of "we forced them to do it!"

A strike here would be a bad idea right now. But maybe sometime next year, before the election...
