Savage played Murtha tonight and then urged the opposite direction: escalation. Savage said if we pull out it will be seen as another Vietnam and that the terrorists would pursue us here at home with renewed vigor once we have shown such weakness. It was a stong case. Bush and Rummy did not go unscathed. I liked how Savage referred to Bush's initial efforts in Iraq as the "Mr. Rogers" approach, and that Rummy's plan was not strong or brutal enough to ensure swift total victory.
Savage was heavily on the mark but his strategy will never be implemented. PC concerns and the domestic far Left (read most Democraps), who unfortunately have the ear of a sigificant number of Ameeicans, have him hogtied as far as any controlled escalation (read winning strategy) of the war is concerned.
