This email was sent to me today from my sister today, who's son is in Iraq. This is what parents and family are going through due to the hate the dims and left are spewing. It is harming our TROOPS and their family. The below email proves that!
This morning I am so sad. If it were not for my family I do not know what I would do. This morning when I got up I thought about what Micah is going through, sleeping on a cold metal vehicle, being fired upon, and when not, not knowing when his vehicle might blow up under him and his men. I thought about the sand that stings their eyes, makes them feel gritty and never clean but more than anything how is jams their weapons casuing them not to fire. How they are leaving sweetheart, wives, children at home. How there is lack of support from so many in the USA when they are
laying their lives on the line and many have willing died with honor. All this and then I see so many people here in school and elsewhere who go about their comfortable lifestyles have never written a letter or mailed a pkg to support our precious Hero's. But it is not just that it is that most people don't even think about them unless they are their family. Negative comments, not supporting our Commander in Chief and our Troups is breaking my heart. It has just came crashing down around me. One of our teachers, so helpfully came in to tell me three Marines were blown
up this morning. What do people think they are doing or saying? If that is support I have missed it. I need your prayers, I love you, Big Sister.
Dear JFC,
Thank you for the letter. I feel much compassion for you sister and somewhat understand her anquish. My eighteen year old, Garrett, just joined the Army. he wants to be a Ranger or Special Forces member. He tried to get us to sign for him to join early but we would not. we wanted him to have the additional time to be sure about his decision. I am, of course, scared to death for him. At least he won;t go into the Army intil next August after he finishes High school. I do have some time to spend with him before he has to leave and that is some relief.
I wish your sister well and tell her to visit us at Free Republic, She will find out that people really do care what happens to her son and all our sons and daughters.
Sincerely,
PresidentFelon
Please tell your sister that she is not alone. There are so many people here that support her, what she is going through and more importantly, we support her son and our military. You should tell her to check out the canteen, there is all kind of support there for her. Prayers for her and for his safe deployment. Prayers for all our troops.
Please tell her she and Micah are in my prayers.
Tell Big Sister that there are also supporters like myself who are not family members, but who are totally dedicated to the troops AND their mission. It hurts me to know what she is going through. We will support her and her son, and protect them from the evil know-nothing fools who go carelessly about their comfortable lives, while our heroes are preserving their freedom to do so.
PLEASE have your nephew go to this site to sign up for a loving, patriotic care package: http://www.opgratitude.com/.
Tell your sister about our daily Canteen here on FR; she is very welcome. Tell her I and many other patriots here at FR will pray for her and her son. If you would like to be a point of contact, we can send mail to you to send on to Micah. So please FReepmail me.
Does that help?
