Car deaths in France
Las Vegas Review Journal ^ | 11-17-05 | Warren Willis Sr.

To the editor:

Say it isn't so! The war in France is rapidly nearing a grim milestone. Car deaths are now closing in on the magic number of 10,000.

How much longer can this quagmire go on? How much longer before the French admit defeat and pull out? Where's the United Nations? Isn't it time for a Security Council resolution and a peacekeeping force?

But as we all know, it is President Bush's fault. Bush lied, cars fried.

I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure.

Seriously, I do feel bad for the French. The white, European French who are actually French. It's not a racial issue, it's more of a cultural and spiritual issue...the real French have no spirituality, and the faux French have no desire to wear a beret. So we have the epic confrontation of the spineless against the Godless.

I'm flipping coins on how this one pans out.

Frankly, they deserve each other.
