Not true.
Two obvious examples: Spain's Francisco Franco (who is still dead), and Chile's Pinochet.
Liberals can't stand either of them and are still trying to prosecute Pinochet despite his being a dying man.
They also didn't like Hitler, at least not after he attacked Stalin, who they adored.
There's never been a dictator (except for three) the liberals haven't liked.
