Arnold told people via the props we needed to cut stuff in the budget
In a significant power grab for the governors office. Why can't he cut spending without trying to change the government in a way that harms the rights of the individual and the balance of power in the state government?
What exactly has been the governors focus since his election? He has completely reorganized the executive branch, giving way to much power to extremists like Sunne Wright McPeake, putting in numerous extremist environmentalists and planners to totally change Calfornia from a state where people have some freedom left to one that is very controlled--especially with respect to housing and transportation. He has created an unconstitutional council called the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, which undermines elected representation in the area and usurps authority from the individual citizen.
In the meantime, our infrastructure is still falling apart, the highways in the Bay Area are in such disrepair that you can't even believe you are in America, it seems more like East Germany before the Berlin wall fell.
His trade junkets are also questionable, he needs to tend to the state right now.

You didn't answer my question. What hero from the GOP could be elected in CA right now?

Did Sunne Wright McPeake have anything whatsoever to do with that solar IPO that shot up on the market today?
calcowgirl just posted some highly interesting info about the Sunnyvale company on another thread and since I met Sunne several times while I was in public life, I just wondered... Maybe Sunne was involved with Sunnyvale... I know, I'm in the twilight zone!!!
