The most important issue to me is that abortion is the killing of an innocent human being. The most effective action against that is to educate people to that fact. Most people won't kill if they understand what they are doing.
I think your opinion on the true nature of mankind is too optimistic . Self Interest is really the most basic of all instincts.
I don't think instincts are the true nature of the human mind. I also don't think that murder is in the true self-interest of a human being.
