hey! when ya coming home???
Well, I think I'm going to start to cry. ;)
After five years in my husband's country, I am starting to finally find my way. But I miss the U.S. every day, especially when I go home to visit family.
I hope anyone and everyone reading this realizes what a great thing they have in the United States of America.
Okay, guess it's time to get to bed, LOL! Getting too nostaligic!
btw--thank you for your service. :)
I had a friend of our family who served in Vietnam and got spit on when he (injured) came home.
Rage is not even the right word for what I feel, and I wasn't even an adult in the military at the time.
God bless you and every other soldier, past and present, who puts their lives on the line for this country.
I love Ann and have read all of her books and most of her articles but the boozing slap at President Bush was a low blow and will take some time to forget. Sorry.
