After five years in my husband's country, I am starting to finally find my way. But I miss the U.S. every day, especially when I go home to visit family.

I had a friend of our family who served in Vietnam and got spit on when he (injured) came home.

Rage is not even the right word for what I feel, and I wasn't even an adult in the military at the time.

BTW, I remember seeing some of the McCarthy hearings on TV. Also watched Murrow's old TV show. Long time ago indeed.
