I take offense to that. He is my representative, and he is *no* RINO. Anyone who says otherwise should look at how he has voted over the years before throwing out accusations. Weldon is consistently conservative.

The LA Times article notes that at the time of the award, Karen Weldon was 29 years old, with no relevant portfolio. The article further notes that Rep. Weldon has "gone to bat for" his daughter's firm with at least two other clients, with the three contracts adding up to a value of $1 million. Karen Weldon's business partner in Solutions is Charles P. Sexton Jr., 67, the former campaign finance chairman for Rep. Weldon, and current chair of the Springfield (DelCo) GOP.
