Since there are only 3 branches of government an administration official means a bureaucrat that doesn't work for the Supreme Court or Congress, narrowing the possibility to about 500,000 persons. Of course the term administration official "sounds" like a White House official, but could be someone from IRS, FBI, NSA, State, Treasury, Health & Human Services, DOD etc. |
