Beginning to look like Woodward might have been the unnamed "reporter" who told Rove and Libby that Plame was CIA. He obviously doesn't want to testify, probably because he knows it will clear Libby.

Per Woodward's story today, he gave testimony for a GJ. I thought the GJ had ended their term. Evidently Woodward thought his deposition was for a GJ so what's up with that?

It wasn't his jurisdiction that expired, it was the grand jury he was using that expired?

Pincus said he did not believe Woodward had purposely lied about their conversation...

Pincus saying Woodward lied (but not on purpose?)

Pincus said he did not believe Woodward had purposely lied about their conversation, saying, "I think he thought he told me something."

Big of him. 'Course, he never thought that Wilson was lying while he (Pincus) took dictation... Libby's lawyer just labeled Woodward's disclosure a "bombshell!" Heh, heh, heh. Pinz

Something is hitting the fan at the Washington comPost.

Woodward has issued an apology to the comPost's editor.

How can this story still have any legs? It's just mystifying. Even if everything that anybody thinks is true, is ture, it's all just about the dumbest and most pointless excercise ever.

You'd think that it was about somebody travelling to our enemies and disclosing invasion plans or something.

Pincus gave his deposition to Fitzgerald in September 2004, in which he spoke about a conversation with a source related to the Plame case, but has never disclosed the identity of the source.

No wonder Pincus is denying that Woodward told him about Plame.

Can you believe all of this? Knew somehow it was going to head right back at the Dems before this was over the way that Rove looked like the cat that swallowed the canary.
