I wouldn't be dissing Grassley if I were you. This is serious stuff.
Federal law enforcement has joined the case based on concerns that DiSanto’s role in Grassley’s high-profile anti-corruption efforts could have put her in physical danger.

Sounds to me like he has a (justified) high opinion of his staff and the important work they are doing.
