I saw this on Primetime. AFAIK there are only two explanations for the bizarre behavior of the manager, Summers.

1) The sheeple have been indoctrinated with such a respect for government and authority that people will do anything a person in a position of relative authority (cop, etc.) tells them to do, without regard for whether the demand makes sense or whether the person actually has sufficient authority to make that demand, or whether they have gone through the legal procedures required to do so (such as getting a warrant in the case of a premise searth), or

2) The manager and her boyfriend (who got a hummer) were actually in on the fiasco.

Since they caught the guy in Florida who was doing this, and since he had done it to fast food outlets across the country, (1) is the more likely option.

I just left a job almost two months ago. The manager and I didn't get along and one of the reasons, I did not suck up to him. He was also condescending as well. Most of the people in his department were college graduates (within the last 5 years) and they sucked up to him. I myself don't play politics and don't kiss@$$.

What I remembered, he would try to micromanage me in my job and I would frequently get called to his office to get @$$-chewed for something. He usually will yell and pound his fist on his desk. When I got a new job offer, I was happy to get out.

In my opinion, any manger that gets abusive should be terminated.
