Hadi Jawad ~ Iraqi founder of Crawford Peace House
The driving force behind the Crawford Peace House is an Iraqi and Saddam sympathizer by the name of Hadi Jawad, whose full name is Dr. Safa Hadi Jawad al-Habboubi. In addition to his Crawford residence, Jawad also maintains a home in Kensington, England, known as a breeding ground for Islamic terrorists.
Jawad, who has been stage managing the Cindy Sheehan protest, called Saddam's overthrow a "criminal act." He has the complete destruction of Israel on his agenda and is a supporter of Islamic terrorism having ties to both the PLO and Hamas.
Jawad sees coalition forces not as liberators but as subjugators of Iraq's people and resources.
"They have resorted to war, to violence, to killing thousands of Iraqi civilians," he said. "The means they have resorted to to accomplish the removal of the regime is unconscionable. It's a criminal act."
This account of a protest against Israel shows that the Peace House is pursuing an anti Israel and anti semitic agenda. One of the speakers at the event was Eugene Bird, the president of the Council for the National Interest, whose virulent wish to destroy Israel would make the named Council to Nuke Israel a more apt appellation.
In December of 2001, Jawad said of the U.S.-lead efforts in Afghanistan. "As the war machinery of the U.S. and U.K. came back to life once again and rained death and destruction on the civilian population of Afghanistan, efforts to eradicate well-entrenched leadership there yield collateral damage of colossal proportions: ruined economies, massive unemployment, extremes of poverty, destroyed infrastructure, crippled health care systems; terminally ill, the extreme elderly, children under five, the most vulnerable segments of any society, killed by the thousands—all this in the name of protecting freedom and democracy."
Jawad really missed the mark with that one. The people of Afghanistan are infinitely better off now than they were under the iron fist of the Taliban.
His real name is Jihad Dawa - Hadi Jawad is a clever anagram he uses.
