Thanks for posting this amazing article. It sheds a lot of light on the mentality of these people.

McNeill says he mistook the looks of sympathy from relatives and friends as accusations, as though he were somehow responsible for his mother’s death.

An important indicator of psychological problems is the complete inability to pick up on the emotions and sentiments of the people around you.

For many years after he would relate to God in fear, as the one who punished him by taking away his mother.

This is clearly a figment of his imagination - no one told him this.

married his wife’s sister, Katie, though they agreed to live as brother and sister, in keeping with an old Irish tradition, says McNeill.

Pathological liar, inventing traditions that never existed.

In 1942, he enlisted in the Army in what he describes as a government-sponsored hoax to nab 17-year-olds like himself

In other words, he is incapable of realizing, even after Pearl Harbor, that the Axis was a real threat to America. He believes that WWII was a "government-sponsored hoax".

This nutter is a complete, raving lunatic. A serious drooler.

This is also (I would argue mainly) the indicator of narcissism--it's all about HIM. Narcissism is one of the key features of homosexuality. Unless there is more to the story, why would his relatives cast accusatory glances? Did he push her down the stairs? Did he poison her soup? Or is he so wrapped up in himself that that is the only thing he could think of?

This nutter is a complete, raving lunatic. A serious drooler.

And his heir apparent is no better:

a 62-year-old psychotherapist and professor of psychology at the University of West Georgia. Helminiak, author of What the Bible Really Says About Sexuality, is convinced the old biblical, theological and psychological disputes have now been resolved in favor of gay and lesbian relationships; he calls the evidence “incontrovertible.”
yeah, right.
The next step, he said, is “political,” that is, getting the Vatican to change its stance. He suspects this will be a long struggle. Meanwhile, he is concerned about helping gays “live with a profound spirituality,” and he thinks Catholicism, “with its tradition of grace building on nature” may be better equipped to do this than those strains of Protestantism that are obsessed with the depravity of human nature.

Even if we were obsessed with it, which we are not, this guy is living proof of it.

24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.

25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,

27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips,

30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,

 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;

32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Some "profound spirituality".

Cordially,
