This nobody AP ass knows that the Bush counter attack will correctly paint the Demorats as the American-hating traitors they are. He wants to hush up the counter attack because it's making all the RAT buffoons like "Rockyfiller" and Dingy Harry look like...well...like buffoons who think they can pull off this big lie.

This is a "news" story? What a joke.

Now we know why informed people refer to AP as "All Propaganda."

"If Bush castigates Democrats for changing their minds on the war, he might wind up alienating Republicans who have done so, too."

Name names...
those who are the "Republicans who changed their minds on the war" will not be voted for and shouldn't call themselves Republicans.

Several Republican Senators are considering whether to retire before Class I elections next year. A few are thinking about how hard they have been working and how they do not pay attention to America and the imminent danger. It would be nice even to retire early and spend more time with family.

America does not need traitors in the Senate. A few early retirements in States with Republican Governor would be very supportive of America and defense against the imminent danger.

Another MSM story trying to convince Republicans of what we should think. As if we are followers like dems and not leaders. As if our thoughts are swayed by actors and journalists.

This isn't "news", it's the current DNC Talking Points with an AP leader.

If the GOP would just fight back with the facts like the Dems fight back with lies repeating them often with conviction there would be no problem. But our gutless GOP refuses to do what is necessary and if it continues they will be blown out of the water in 06 and 08.

Whoa! Is that the deal? Am I betting on a rigged race where all the pony owners set the order for the season.

Gee wiz that's a reality I'm not ready to accept due to lack of attention on my part. ...except the treason thing, that's got legs from evidence I've seen.

IMHO, it would help if GWB's speech-writers used "...stay the course..." less often and used "WIN!" more often.

I've been thinking about this, with that song playing in my mind, for some time now, and sadly (and dangerously) you are absolutely correct.

Some people in this country really dissapoint me. If not for the rest of us who do care, and the country I love, I would say they deserve another terrorist attack....

Trouble is terrorists aren't interested in the dissapointing ones.

Here's the big question: Why is the Bush Administration NOT citing the hundreds of examples of the Iraqi/Al Qaeda link and citing the components of WMD's and illegal missile programs that have been uncovered after the Iraqi invasion? Wouldn't this quiet the leftist Democrats, the war protesters and the media whose actions encourage the enemy to kill American military more and faster? WHY NOT?

I believe you are right about trucks of WMD's going into Syria. I also believe they went there after Jay Rockefeller tipped off Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia that he believed Bush was going to war with Iraq. There should be an investigation into what Rockefeller said and why. He should be removed from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence immediately until he is cleared by an investigation.

By the way, there is a place at the bottom of the article where you can send a comment, and I just sent one to AP criticizing Tom Raum and the MSM. I accused them of trying to undermine the President and the war in Iraq, and asked them to tell the truth about some of the lying Democrats....Ted Kennedy especially. He would have served time in prison if not for his father's money. Had justice been served, the nation would have been spared his doing the will of the left-wing lunatics.

No, AP. Not a chance that the president's push-back will backfire on republicans. Nice try, though.

Mr. Raum fears the President's attempt to set the record straight. Excellent. It's working.
