Was this guy a Good Majority Leader? Granted he was ML during Liberal height, but I'm curious. His comments in this piece garner more respect than anything I've heard from Frist's and Lott's mouths.
Yeah, Republican Senators these days tend to suck. We need the good old fashioned Republicans from the 80's who weren't afraid of making Ted Kennedy and his cohorts feel bad.
