Woodward said he also testified that he met with Libby on June 27, 2003, and discussed Iraq policy as part of his research for a book on President Bush's march to war. He said he does not believe Libby said anything about Plame.

The "official" is not Libby.

I suspect that the official is Colin Powell. He's always been a good source for Woodward. Also, when Plame's name was first being bandied about, it was on Air Force 1 and she was mentioned in a State Department briefing book on that flight.

Novak has been quoted as saying that the identity of the identifier of Plame would surprise everyone. Not me - I already know that it's General Powell.

Seems like Prosecutor was not so Johnny on the spot after all. With all this carp you would think msm would be out in full force reporting this, but heck no, they don't want the TRUTH to be known by stupid main stream americans,
