"For many Christian chaplains, praying in the name of Jesus is a fundamental part of their beliefs." !!!
Crucial Requirement..
John 15:16 ... that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
John 16:23 ...Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you.
John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Thank you!
It is the ONLY way to pray.
It's crystal clear that ole Satan is doing everything feasible to NOT allow you to pray. There is power in prayer and he knows it.

"It is the ONLY way to pray"
It may be the ONLY way you yourself pray, but it is not the ONLY way to pray.
Since I firmly believe the power of prayer is a miraculous gift God gave mankind, I am not easily "offended" by differing denominational or sectual differences in "proper prayer formats", only by whether or not any prayer I am forced, by virtue of my "captive audience status" to attend, which also means participate in.
If the captive prayer ending is in "Gods name" and/or "In Jesus's Name", or even something very "exotic" such as "In heavens name", "In goodness name", "with deep respect" etc...I am not offended.
End it by praising Allah, Jim Jones, Hubbard, or the local power mad dictator, and yes, I will be offended.
Prayer is a powerful force.
At times, it may not be appropriate in public, amongst unbelievers.
Those times have less to do with "unbelievers" than they have to deal with self-righteous zealots, in every denomination and sect that worships good over evil.
