Try crossing the checkpoint sometime and see for yourself.
Isn't it funny how people don't particularly like or respect a population that they know is out to murder and libel them and their families?
I have been through Israeli checkpoints (Jericho and Bethlehem) and observed their operation vis-a-vis the Pals. There were no long lines in either direction (cars or people), and nothing out of the ordinary was going on.
