Jews have "a special responibility"???????? Are you nuts? If so, Jews also have a special responsibility to s. People who have been ing Jewish men, women and children indiscriminately and without showing an ounce of regret or willingness to abandon this goal are supposed to be deserving of receiving anything from Jews??? Only a liberal named Clinton can make such a statement and have it reported as if it made perfect sense, when he should be banished from all civil and political discourse as a reckless, feckless traitor to the United States, a treacherous backstabber to Israel and a threat to the whole female species. AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Politicos and reporters are not rocket scientists . . .

Professions tend to be self-selected, intellectually homogeneous subgroups of Homo sapiens. Great intellects (especially these days) do not generally gravitate towards careers in the media or politics. Mediocre, power-obsessed types with poor self-images do.

Thus, clinton mediocrity goes undetected primarily because of media mediocrity. ("Mediocrity" and "media" don't come from the same Latin root (medius) for no reason.) Insofar as the clintons are concerned, the media confuse form with substance, smoothness with coherence, data-spewing with ratiocination, pre-programmed recitation with real-time analysis, an idiosyncratic degeneracy with creativity.

Somehow, this almost incoherent rant made sense to me and resonated with me. ;)

I know how you feel. I just don't see how Jewish New Yorkers can go against their religion and G-d so consistently (Orthodox and recent Russian Jewish immigrants excluded).

They've become more liberal than Jew.
